She has studied flute privately with Sandra Graef of the Indianapolis Symphony, Kyril Magg of the Cincinnati Symphony and Opera, Gary Woodward of the LA Opera, and most recently, Heather Verbeck, Adjunct Faculty at the CIncinnati Conservatory of Music.

Becki has a Bachelor of Music from the University of Southern California’s Thornton School of Music where she studied music industry with many esteemed engineers and producers and flute performance for four years. During her tenure at USC, Rebekah was Assistant Principal of the USC Concert Orchestra as well as working at Classical KUSC Radio, New Line Cinema, Origination Television Studios, and Warner Bros. In 2006, Rebekah moved back to the midwest to found and operate her own music production company: Street Symphony Artist Alliance. SSAA concentrates its efforts on innovation and job creation within the fields of recording, publishing, and live performance. Rebekah is an artist signed with SSAA. Her debut album, Introducing Rebekah Chesnes, was released in May 2007. It is available for purchase on iTunes and CDBaby.com.

In December of 2007, Becki was officially certified as a professional recording engineer by The Recording Workshop. Consequently, in 2010, Becki founded a freelance sound recording services company called Sound Girl Recording. Sound Girl specializes in audio and visual production of live classical concerts and demos.

Most recently, Becki also started a non-profit entity called the Pig City Music Foundation. PCMF aims to produce live classical and jazz entertainment for the enrichment and education of the public as well as creating gigs and training for musicians throughout the Cincinnati area. PCMF is currently seeking grants and donations for a chamber music and masterclass concert series and a young musician mentorship program. Rebekah is the Principal Flutist of the West Chester Symphony Orchestra, the WCSO publicist and webmaster, and an avid freelance musician for weddings and corporate events.
